Guide to setting up social tasks on Twitter

Once a user watches the video and claims, you can get them to complete Twitter tasks. There are a number of ways to do this.

In create/edit campaign, navigate to advanced settings, open Additional Feature Settings and additional tasks. Switch it on.

For Follows:

Objective: Get users to follow your company Twitter account:

  1. You will need to upload a Twitter/X logo and set the icon to position

  2. Add 'Follow Us' in the task call out

  3. Copy the below link but insert the Twitter Handle you want to follow:

https://twitter.com/intent/follow?screen_name=[INSERT TWITTER HANDLE]&original_referer=https://viewfi.io

Click 'Add New' to add a second task.

For Re-posts:

Objective: Write a tweet and get users to retweet it:

  1. You will need to upload a Twitter/X logo and set the icon to position

  2. Add 'Retweet Us' in the task call out

  3. Copy the below link and add the Tweet ID you want to follow:

https://twitter.com/intent/retweet?tweet_id=[INSERT TWEET ID NUMBER]&original_referer=https://viewfi.io

For Tweets:

Objective: Promote the campaign to make it go viral:

  1. Note you first need to publish your campaign. On the publich page click the 'share on Twitter' and copy the URL presented. Return back to the edit page.

  2. You will need to upload a Twitter/X logo and set the icon to position

  3. Add 'Tweet This' in the task call out

  4. Take your pasted link from the publish page which should look like below:

https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?url=https%3A%2F%2F[campaignurl]%2FC%[campaignID]

Additional tips for Tweets

You can add a prompted message like below by changing the copy at the end of the url and use % as a space.

If you want to track specific referrals in the platform, go through the flow as a user, at the end, click the share on Twitter icon and copy the URL. Take that and go back into the set up and paste that link. Here is an example:

Note that users do not need to connect to Twitter to ViewFi which removes a lot of friction. But it does mean that a user can opt not to do the task and return to the flow.

Get YouTube Subscribers

To get more users to subscribe to your youtube channel

To create a YouTube subscribe link, you can add the parameter ?sub_confirmation=1 to your channel URL.

Example:

https://www.youtube.com/@ViewFiApp?sub_confirmation=1
https://www.youtube.com/[@YouTubeChannelID]?sub_confirmation=1
