ViewFi ("ViewFi", "we" or "us") provides software that helps online businesses (our "Customers") run video marketing campaigns that reward users for watching who are promoted to customers ("Campaign Users").

Security & Privacy is an important part of our platform that we take very seriously. Therefore, this Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Views collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a "User") of the https://viewfi.io website ("Site"). This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products or services offered by ViewFi including the application (https://app.viewfi.io)

In order to ensure confidentiality and lawful processing of its, Visitors, Customers and Campaign Users personal data, ViewFi in its capacity of a data controller and of a processor, conducts its activities in strict compliance with the requirements set in the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of this data (GDPR). This Privacy Policy applies to all Customers, Campaign Users, and Visitors of our Site and Services.

Customers and Visitors of our Site

We may collect your personal data in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to when you visit our Site, register on the Site, subscribe to our newsletter, fill out a form, or in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available. Registration and Contact Information: As appropriate and depending on the Services you would like to use, Customers and Visitors may be asked to provide us with full name, username, email, address, phone number or billing information.

Payment Information: When you purchase the Services, we will also collect transaction information, which may include your credit card information, billing and mailing address, and other payment-related information.

Technical, Usage and Location Information: We automatically collect information on how you interact with the Site, such as the IP address from which you access the Site, date and time, information about your browser, operating system and computer or device, pages viewed and items clicked. We may also collect location information, including location information automatically provided by your computer or device. ViewFi Application Users

Companies that use ViewFi to run campaigns ("Campaign") may require Application Users to supply certain information as part of a Campaign. ViewFi processes this data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. ViewFi is the data processor on behalf of our customers.

ViewFi is a consent-based video marketing platform, this means that in order for us to process data on behalf of users they must provide it via explicit consent first. This might be as simple as filling out a form or connecting through Google.

By participating and agreeing to the terms and conditions, you consent to the ViewFi application collecting the following information and share it only with the Company running a campaign. This data includes:

Default: First, last name; email address; IP address, date and time. Optional: multiple choice question results,, optional data capture fields as set by the customer. You are opting in and accepting that campaign owner (Company) will have access to the information you provide. ViewFi will remain the data handler and pass this data over to the customer through secure means.

Some Campaigns may also require additional Custom Fields which include Date of Birth (for Age Verification) and other identifiable fields that the user can choose to fill out.

Social Logins: ViewFi also allows Campaign Users to connect social accounts to your profile. Companies that have social logins enabled on their Campaigns will be able to see basic information related to accounts that you connect. This includes but is not limited to your name, email address, social profile URL's and associated profile photos.

  • ViewFi will never use or post to these accounts without your permission and will always require your interaction with the widget to execute any specific actions

  • ViewFi will only ever use information that you have made public or specifically allowed us to access when you accept permissions

  • ViewFi does not know or store any passwords associated with your social accounts

  • If you wish to remove the link between ViewFi and any social network, you can remove the ViewFi app inside that specific social network.

ViewFi Application provides your opt-in personal information to the Companies that run Campaigns. You opt-in to participate in the campaign and agree to pass your data to that Company in order to claim your perk. This means that all the data you fill in is exposed to Companies in which you actively participate in their Campaign who can use this data to send you marketing and communications messages in the future. You will be able to unsubscribe from such communications in the future by contacting the Company via their stated channel.

ViewFi Application includes an ad product allowing our customers to serve ViewFi format across advertising networks which will appear across third party websites. The functionality will enable users to watch videos on these sites and claim with the application as stated above.

Cookies

Our Site uses both first and third-party cookies to enhance User experience. A User's web browser places a cookie on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. Users may choose to set their web browser to refuse cookies or to alert when cookies are being sent. If they do so, please note that some parts of the Site and Campaigns may cease to function. ViewFi Campaigns use Cookies to track information about users in order to serve them content. ViewFi does not use cookies for retargeting or does not and will not sell cookie data to third parties. Cookies are used to enable our application to function.

How We Use Collected Information

ViewFi may collect and use User's personal information for the following purposes:

ViewFi Website Users

  • To administer our Website and for internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, statistical and survey purposes;

  • To write or display content such as case studies or customer testimonials on our Site;

  • To improve ViewFi to ensure that content is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your Device;

  • To allow you to participate in interactive features of our service when you choose to do so;

  • To send periodic emails: We may use the email address to send User information and updates pertaining to their subscription. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, questions, and/or other requests.

ViewFi Campaign Users

ViewFi does not own or use any identifiable data provided by Campaign Users for any reason other than to:

  • Provide your data to Customers so they can distribute the reward

  • Ensure that your specific request is carried out and assigned to the correct campaign that you provided consent for

  • Identify and detect fraudulent behavior or Campaign Users that are violating our Terms of Service.

Sharing Information With Third Parties

ViewFi do not sell, trade, or rent Users' personal identification information to third parties. Once you provide access to specific data it belongs to the Customer running that specific Campaign and only that Customer. We urge you to review the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy of the Campaign Owner to understand how they may use your data once it leaves ViewFi.

Customers and Visitors of our Site

ViewFi may use third-party service providers to help us operate our business or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or collecting Website analytics. We may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes provided that you have given us your permission.

ViewFi engages certain onward sub-processors that may process personal data submitted to ViewFi services. These sub-processors are listed below, and maybe updated by ViewFi from time to time:

Sensitive and private data exchange between the Site and its Users happens over an SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures.

ViewFi uses Stripe to process our credit card payments and no credit card details are stored on our servers. Paddle has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available.

In case of an unauthorized security intrusion that materially affects you or the people on your mailing list ViewFi will notify you as soon as possible and will within reasonable time report the action, we took in response.

EU and EEA residents

The servers where ViewFi stores all personal data are located on Amazon AWS EC2.. If you are located in a country member of either the EU or the EEA, please be aware that any information provided to us, including personal information, will be transferred from your country of origin to the US. Except in the case of data transfers under the EU-US Privacy Shield and the Swiss-US Privacy Shield, we may ask for your express consent to provide such data to us or allow us to collect such data.

Data Processing Agreement

If you are our Customer and your company is either located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland or your company, by using our services, is processing the data of anyone who is in the EEA or Switzerland, then you can request our GDPR compliant Data Processing Agreement by submitting a support ticket from the Support tab inside your account.

Data Retention Periods

ViewFi will not retain data longer than is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable laws or regulations. For Campaign data, ViewFi Customers have control of the purpose for collecting data, and the duration for which the Personal Data may be kept. Vie customers can access applicable user data and permanently delete this data from our servers.

If a Customer or User account has been suspended for a Terms of Service violation, ViewFi will retain the information necessary to continue to enforce this suspension for up to 10 years.

Privacy Controls & Choices

ViewFi Website Communication: Our Customers, Site Visitors, and Users have a choice about how we use their personal data to get in touch with them and may choose to opt-out at any time by unsubscribing or changing their account settings.

Campaign Users Notifications: We provide an easy mechanism for opt-in out of any communication from campaigns inside the Post Entry Email. You can simply select Unsubscribe.

Your Rights: We provide all Customers, Visitors, and Users of our Site with the opportunity to request access, correction, restriction, deletion, data portability or oppose to any personal information that has previously been provided to us in connection with the use of our Website, as required by law. Because the nature of our Site and Services does not appeal to children under the age of 13, ViewFi does not knowingly acquire or receive personal data from children under 13.
